Radio Kantipur has recently announced on their tweet that they are conducting radio classes as a measure to help home-ridden students during covid19 crisis causes by the rapid spread of novel corona virus of 2019.



Their announcement indicates that the radio classes will be for students of grades 6, 7 and 8. The radio classes cover three subjects for each of these grades - English, Science and Social Studies. The radio classes are conducted Sunday to Thursday, from 10 am to 11 am each day.  It has been made possible upon central coordination by Center for Education and Human Resources Development of Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Nepal and Nepal Education Cluster. The production and  airing has been coordinated by Good Neighbours International and Radio Kantipur.

Radio Kantipur airs around Kathmandu, Dharan, Birgunj, Chitawan and Bhairahawa through 96.1 MHz band; and around Nepalgunj, Pokhara and Dhangadi through 101.8 MHz band.
