Nursery
Nursery is officially the first year of the pre-school system of Nepal. However, due to practicality reason, some working parents or willing parents request the schools to keep their wards in ‘playgroup’ where the little ones do not need to learn anything than playing, napping and being with other kids and adults at the school.
The community schools (government-funded ones) term Nursery as ‘ECD – Level 1’. ECD stands for Early Childhood Development.
